Good morning everyone.
 I think you probably caught it when it was rebooting. I applied a load of security updates today, and it was offline for a short time. I think it's working OK now. DC thank you.  |

Good morning all - As far as the Beta's were concerned, if you blinked you missed them - no sign of any more.

Good morning all - As far as the Beta's were concerned, if you blinked you missed them - no sign of any more. Just looked at my results status - all 4 Beta's crashed out in less than 1 hour with 'Error' Well, I guess that's the whole point of the beta testing. I didn't get any of those units at all. It would be nice if they could fix the "time remaining" estimate for CEP2, but I'm sure there's a good reason why they can't.

Dave I looked at the Beta forum and it said that initially they had issued 50 WUs so getting 4 of them was akin to winning the lottery. They all stated that there will be a further 5,000 but don't hold your breath. After this weekend I'm going back to running FAH 2 at least up to the diamond 5 level. Still keeping OET going though so that my points score doesn't plummet too much.

I just got a CEP2 beta WU... but it errored out after 20 seconds (which must be some kind of record). Mind you, on my Atom-based cruncher (it's my backup DNS and mail server, in some mega-cheap French data centre somewhere or other), it was forecast to take 53 hours to complete, so I'm quite glad it only lasted 20 seconds.

Good morning everyone. Today all is quiet here while the country votes in a referendum to decide if the government is allowed to change the constitution to permit continued re-election of a president beyond two terms of office. When an election is held here, two days before - the sale of alcohol is banned and on the day of election you need a special permit to drive anywhere. As a result I am confined to base. My partner however is working (compulsory with no pay) to help collect and count the votes. Time to catch up with a few unwatched films.!
