Good morning everyone. ![]() No it isn't. I'm back at work for the first full day since mid August ![]() Big sympathies dc. I haven't needed to go to work since February 2014 but somehow I still seem to get up at 6:30 to 7:00 every morning and drop into bed before 23:00 completely worn out - no salary to look forward to at the end of the month either! The stats are really looking good - you must have worked very hard on them - back to work for a rest?

The stats are really looking good - you must have worked very hard on them - back to work for a rest? Thanks RTS48. I've enjoyed doing the stats. It's been a year or so since I've used the particular technologies employed (and much longer since I've done any database stuff), so it's been an interesting refresher. Were it not for the persistent issue with the badges (which still don't work properly), I'd be delighted with the result. FYI, I started working on some pretty graphs yesterday ![]() Yes, work is a bit of a shock, although I have been working half-days from home since late September, so it's not a complete surprise. It's nice to be able to get into the office now that I can walk again (following my ruptured achilles). I suspect it will seem like a long week though.

Good Morning All.
----------------------------------------I hit a stone with my lawn tractor and now I need to wait for two replacement blades before I can continue cutting the grass. I hope it doesn't get too high! Yesterday I got the brakes fixed on my RAV4 - service while you wait. They removed all 4 disks, machined the 8 sides, replaced the brake pads and bled the system. Cost? less than £75 including parts. Oil and filter change - less than £25 including filter and oil. Some things here are cheap.

Nice, wish I could say my car was as cheap - had to replace the two front tyres on mine a few months ago - that was a nice £350 for the pair! ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Thargor at Jan 5, 2016 1:37:05 PM] |

Evening all.
----------------------------------------Cars can indeed be expensive toys. One of my managers daughters passed her driving test the other day and her Mazda thingy (basically a 15yr old Fiesta) has been quoted as around £200/month for the insurance alone. Insane amount of money. After getting the year off to a good start, somehow even though I know I sent 2 results back on the second I have nowt for that day so my hope of keeping my run of returning a result each day has gone down the pan already. Drat and double drat! |
