Good Morning All
----------------------------------------If you want to visit South America a good start would be to look at some of the reviews on Trip Advisor. These are pretty good (in fact I have written quite a few for Bolivia).I would suggest that you put the following places on your 'Bucket List' Galapagos Islands (via Equador) Machu Pichu (Peru) Lake Titicaca and the Isla del Sol (Bolivia) La Paz (Bolivia) Salar Uyuni (Salt flats - Bolivia) Sucre (Capital of Bolivia but not the seat of government) Tarija (Wine growing region of Bolivia) Sao Paulo (Brazil), Santiago (Chile) and Buenos Aires (Argentina) are quite vibrant but daunting for a tourist and can be dangerous if you stray to the wrong part of town

Thanks for that RTS48. Once they started cutting down the Amazon, I've never really fancied Brazil. I prefer mountains to swampy jungle. I certainly fancy La Paz and Lake Titicaca. I always wanted to go to Macchu Pichu as a teenager many years ago, but I expect I'd be hugely disappointed (unless I could go when it was very quiet). I also fancy Cusco.

Good Morning All. Looks like a day of rain here, I'm feeling a small solidarity with the UK!

I thought it might be interesting to share information occasionally about our crunching setups, so here goes:
----------------------------------------
The cloud instances are because I have a Microsoft developer subscription for work, which gives me ~£30 of free cloud computing per month... so given that I don't need it for anything else, it seems a shame to waste it! My work computer is on all the time to allow remote access, and crunches almost 24/7, except during work days when it pauses as the CPU load ramps up (due to work getting in the way). My home server runs 3 threads in the winter (contributing to the heating) and one in the summer. My music player is a tiny box attached to a pair of speakers to allow me to stream music to my kitchen relatively cheaply.

Nothing so sophisticated here,
----------------------------------------An Apple iMac Quad Core 8 threads An Apple 17" MacBook Pro Dual Core 4 Threads An Apple 15" MacBook Pro Retina Quad Core 8 Threads All run 24/7 I have two old windows laptops (dual core 32 bit) but as yet I haven't the time to bring them into service again. I guess that would give me 4 more threads (and a bigger electricity bill) With an ambient temperature of 29C in the house I don't need heating!

Morning all. I've added some graphs to my stats page. I don't think they add any value, but I was determined to draw something! Quite surprised that my badges calculation actually worked last night. Hopefully it wasn't a one off.
