Good Morning All. A dull day in prospect here in Santa Cruz (temperature still in the 30s). Not too windy so it's grass cutting time again. We are planning a nice evening out tomorrow to welcome in the New Year, live entertainment with 'Kachas' a 5 piece band at the bar / restaurant Tapequa. Now to find a taxi!

It's been 30 degrees here today too... 10 in the morning, 10 in the afternoon and 10 in the evening :-)
----------------------------------------Update on the stats... I inadvertently trashed the badges data a couple of days ago. It should now be picking up new badges achieved, but there don't seem to have been any since I broke it. Also, I've changed the code that retrieves the data by restricting it to just the top 250 teams (by points), rather than attempting to retrieve the data for all the teams (which was taking a long time, and was largely pointless). I'm really only interested in the top 100 for points/runtime/results, so I've assumed that the top 250 for points is good enough for runtime and results too (I can't imagine rankings would be that far out of step). Next on the list is adding WCG global rankings and movements, and then team overtakes. And I'd really like some pie charts, although I'm not sure what for!

Morning all.
----------------------------------------Here we are for the last day of the year. Just about managing to keep at least one result returned each day as there's been a couple of close calls recently. Should be fine today as I'm in work so have this computer crunching but will have to check the home computer and laptop for deadlines. Hope everyone is well and not suffering from a bit too much "festive spirit". Mine was nice and relaxing, made a nice change to have a few days off work and quite frankly do exceeding little. Must admit, a nice steak and ale pie would go down very nicely. Doubt if work would approve of me eating one at my desk! |
