Lots of rain here in the North East at the moment but some areas have had unbelievable amounts of rainfall.

Good Morning Team (It's still Good Evening here). I echo crooks_uk's sentiment - flooding is no fun and ruins lives. If councils did not try to build on flood plains there would be less of a problem. The Thames at Reading is a prime example and flooding there is worse each year. It may be idyllic to live by a river but you either have to take precautions or learn to live with it.
----------------------------------------I've just been out to view the Christmas lights in the main Plaza - quite spectacular. Lots of photos to process and put on my picasaweb gallery.
