I agree. If we start using a "Proper" forum that would lead to this, the "official" thread, empty. Newcomers would first see the empty forum and may conclude it is too dead for them and go elsewhere.

I agree... another forum wouldn't help, but I just thought I'd suggest it just in case I was in the minority.

One of the good things about what jonnieb was doing was that he was posting the stats into this thread, which was quite an achievement in itself, given the arcane nature of this bulletin board's codes and stuff. That certainly was what caused me to revisit regularly. The best I can do is a link to an external website, but at least that website will work properly on mobile devices (I hope), and there's much more scope for doing clever stuff with the data.

You can view them any time. The link to the "live" version is below (and the link is in my signature). Every so often, I upgrade the webpage with some more info. I generate the stats themselves every morning at about 4am, and then fix it ('cos it often breaks) over breakfast
