Good morning everyone. dominojo I have no intention of spending any overnight sessions on this, I can assure you, although writing software for my own personal satisfaction is quite addictive, albeit less lucrative than my usual programming efforts. Hi dcrobinson, the last thing I would wish for is anyone doing overnight sessions on purely voluntary basis. Wow, the stats you are now providing are looking good. ![]() Thanks dominijo. Glad you like the stats. If you or anyone has any special requests for what you'd like to see, please ask. After Christmas I'm going to look at milestones, but I'm open to suggestions. ps. I've just tweaked the 7-day stats to be a top 20, since that seems to include a lot of the contributors to this forum ![]()

Good Morning Team. The stats are looking great dc especially (like you) because I appear on them. It has almost (but not quite) encouraged me to add a couple of old 'Windows' lap tops to my crunching farm.

Really pleased that I'm in the top ten for current production, despite being in the 30's for overall team contribution. Good also to see that Mamajuanauk is still crunching like a mad thing, despite having disappeared from the forum.
----------------------------------------Here's another interesting statistic I've "discovered": Team UK has had 662 all-time members, but only 611 of them have actually generated any results. I guess that means that either they chose another team, or just stopped contributing to the WCG altogether, before completing any units. I wonder if this is common to all the teams?

Woke up this morning to a house in darkness. It turned out that my electric was off... or rather, half my electric was off. I have a split consumer unit, and the RCD on one side had tripped out.
----------------------------------------At 4:52 it tripped, and my UPS managed to keep my server, switch, firewall/router and broadband modem running for 25 minutes until it shut everything down. Not bad considering the server was runnning 3 cores on WCG! Really annoying thing is, I got up this morning and restarted everything, and it had been up and runnning for about 5 minutes and the entire power went out again (not my RCD this time), for about 10 seconds. My depleted UPS lasted about 9.5 seconds before instigating a shutdown again. Bugger! Anyway, I've shutdown my 3 cores to give my UPS a chance to charge up a bit. Still, on a positive note, my stats generator ran perfectly last night.

Good morning everyone.
dc 'sounds like you need to put another tanner in't meter ' . Good to see that your UPS allowed for a 'graceful' shutdown. Also good to see that the stats are getting better, thanks. ![]() |

Morning all.
----------------------------------------Have managed to keep results returned each day so still trundling along. Helps that the works computer is crunching during the day but can't really crunch too much with the family so best be good, can still have a chrimbo crunch though When I read the opening line of your last message DC, my brain cell turned it in to a Muddy Waters style blues song. So get your Blues guitar and Harmonica out and here we go Woke up this morning, 'na-na-na-na-nah' to a house in darkness, 'na-na-na-na-nah' Turned out the electric was off, 'na-na-na-na-nah' Or rather half was off, 'na-na-na-na-nah' Time for a brew methinks! ![]() |

Good Morning All
----------------------------------------Sorry to hear about your power outage dc - CPUs don't run well on candles. Surprisingly here we don't get many power cuts but I did invest in a UPS for my iMac and various HDDs. genhos as far as your blues lyrics are concerned I would not give up the day job just yet. ![]()
