Welcome back Scribe.

My CEP unit completed OK in the end. It started very slow using very little of the CPU and then must have used progressively more and more of it towards the end. Weird that it completed dead on 18:00hrs!!! Wonder if it truly completed or just reported as far as it got at that time?

Completed:Valid 18.00 CPU Time / 75.03 Elapsed Points 159.1

Probably not going to try CEP for a long time again.

Wonder if it truly completed or just reported as far as it got at that time?

18hrs CPU is the auto cutoff - finished or not! In "Result Status" if you click on Valid in the status column you'll see how far it got bfore cut-off.

Here's one og mine cut off after 18hrs:

"Quit requested: Exiting " to me means that some external event caused the exit; usually shutting down the computer (or logging off the user). But it does seem very odd that you got exactly the 18:00 hours and still got that message. I wonder if it depends on the BOINC version you're using?
