Ian,
I don't understand. CEP is capped at 18 hours CPU time, so if the elapsed time is that high then the machine must be very busy doing something else!

Or the work unit could be stuck in a loop?

My old laptop is pretty inefficient when it comes to CEP2:

I think I have had one WU go past 18hrs CPU where a high powered wingman completed in 18 and I took ~21 but the Result is no longer available to quote.

I've also read somewhere that on older machines runnng CEP2 it's good practice to reboot after a completed WU (or immediately after a check point). So that might be something Ian could try if the long running WU logs a checkpoint.

Just to let you guys know that one of my old teams which I founded back in 2004 seems to need my help for a while, so I will go for a vacation over there until they are in a better position.......see you later biggrin
