I still have not received an OPNG unit, the only machine that has is my mothers laptop which has an AMD GPU, all the rest have Nvidia cards. I have an nVidia GTX 1650 and that's getting plenty of OPNG units DMNI .

I'm still not getting anything, in fact as far as I can see Boinc does not seem to detect my card at all. I've a Nvidia GTX 1050TI which is compatable with OpenCL 1.2 , also seen posts from other members with the same card which are working with no issues.
----------------------------------------I've checked every setting possible in the all the config files, created my own app_config.xml file for the project, and enabled GPU debugging. Nothing about a card at all, nothing detected, nada. Using win10 with latest Nvidia driver, Boinc is installed as a service. Kind of at a loss here. ![]() |

That card should work well, FYI there are no Nvidia OPNG tasks since yesterday morning, had a few AMD ones but just a handful.
----------------------------------------If you look in the Event log at the top it should identify the card and give you some info on it. Also when it's polling for more tasks you should see a line like this 06/05/2021 15:37:47 | World Community Grid | Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU and AMD/ATI GPU

That card should work well, FYI there are no Nvidia OPNG tasks since yesterday morning, had a few AMD ones but just a handful. Thanks for the help guys but I have just found the problem. A while ago now, my client was updated to 7.2.47, the current download is 7.14.3. I uninstalled and installed 7.14.3, and now my card is recognised and trying to download OPNG units. Also I had to not install as a service, will have to add it to startup as I'll not remember to run WCG every time I start up. No wonder nothing worked. ![]() |

It will have been sometime over the weekend, or just before it, but a nice milestone to hit - 250 years of total run-time!

Thanks for the welcome :-) Can't maintain that rate now as GPU jobs have all dried up Welcome aboard AlanS. Have a look at my website sometime, and maybe get yourself a forum signature if you want one using this link: https://wcg.codegibbons.uk/sigs/AlanS.png On the subject of the website, I'm planning on making a change to the way the stats are displayed. I think it would make more sense to display a 7-day rolling daily average, rather than a 7-day rolling total. In other words, after more than 5 years in its current form, I'm thinking of dividing loads of numbers by 7. What do you all reckon? Also, I'm hoping to finish off the work I started on the team challenges, so that when you click on a challenge you can actually see the league table for that challenge, rather than just Team UK's rank. I made some changes a few weeks ago to pull down the data, but I haven't got round to hacking up a UI for it.
