Hello Guys, Been a while.
----------------------------------------I have had a 4 week break from my racing game and decided to get get back in the drivers seat today. Did ok despite my rustiness. https://youtu.be/oLjeOVYtJTE I did 2 laps of Kyalami in a Bentley, times were 1:56:00 and 155.60. Not bad considering my lack of practise. I have challenged myself to get that lap time down by 10 seconds by practising every day for an hour over 2 weeks. Those of you that have the gear can try it also. I have a manual gearbox and driver aids are off. lets go. ![]() |

----------------------------------------Yes the tropical garden is still growing well, this year we had a crop of around 40kg of Avocado pears and about 150kg of Mandarins and Pomelos. The Mangoes were good too (about 20 kg of those. So we are all healthy and fighting fit. There is no lockdown here but nearly everyone takes the full precautions. I'm not getting much chance for travel but we have managed a trip to La Paz which was uneventful and did not require any COVID tests. I'm still waiting for a vaccine to be made available.

Sorry I can't help you with your niche operating system Mamajuanauk ![]() A final reminder that my stats site URL has changed (details below) and some of you need to update your signatures. I had a quick scan back through some recent forum posts, and the following people haven't updated their signature links yet (this is not an exhaustive list): Apis Tintinnambulator themoonscrescent Thargor crooks_uk Distemper EuphoriaBuzz Your signature link will be something like https://wcg.codegibbons.uk/sigs/dcrobinson.png I'll be switching the redirection off some time in the next couple of weeks, so please expect a broken link if you don't update very soon. Many thanks for the reminder Dave. Much appreciated.

That is nice reward for Beta! I noticed the Project pie charts in your stats looked odd - Beta is less than 1% run time, but 9% of the points!
----------------------------------------And can i just mention today marks my 10 years in Team UK. If it was a marriage, i'd get a tin can. ![]() |

I have a manual gearbox and driver aids are off. lets go. It took an extra week but I still fell short by .8 seconds. I feel my driving has improved enough to try some online racing. Still have to learn overtaking through corners and over all race strategy. Tire wear and fuel loads will need to be felt through the wheel and how the car reacts, tried a bit of this already and felt some changes in the car, not enough done yet, much more to learn. ![]() |
