Re: More Bling!

Good afternoon everyone. Any news in the crunching world? No more GPU betas for me sadly. I'll be getting my Diamond 5 Open Pandemics shortly, so I'll switch back to MCM (except for my Raspberry Pi, which can't do MCM) and go flat out for my first and probably only Diamond 50. 7 years to go smile

Re: More Bling!

Wow, That would take me on current averages about 4.364 years to do!
Next time I can build a computer I'm going to ask you for advice.

Re: More Bling!

I received tonnes of GPU Beta's, every single one Failed on all systems :-( I Looked at Graphic Card prices and am shocked at how pricey they are now.. Cards I bought for the last GPU project WCG did are 3x more expensive now then they were all those years ago.

Looks like I won't be participating :-(

Very true, but they are extremely fast, amazingly fast, unbelievably fast, in comparison.

Re: More Bling!

On the question of GPU's - How do get Boinc to recognise my AMD GPU on Ubuntu 20.?

The default driver has installed ok and the graphics/display is good. But, Boinc does not see it? I have the Tar file from the AMD web site, but how do I run/install it?

I'm ok with the basics on Ubuntu, but can't figure this one out...

Someone help me out please. TIA

Re: More Bling!

Sorry I can't help you with your niche operating system Mamajuanauk smile

A final reminder that my stats site URL has changed (details below) and some of you need to update your signatures. I had a quick scan back through some recent forum posts, and the following people haven't updated their signature links yet (this is not an exhaustive list):

Apis Tintinnambulator
themoonscrescent
Thargor
crooks_uk
Distemper
EuphoriaBuzz

Your signature link will be something like https://wcg.codegibbons.uk/sigs/dcrobinson.png

I'll be switching the redirection off some time in the next couple of weeks, so please expect a broken link if you don't update very soon.

Re: More Bling!

Sorry guys, a rare appearance for me, I've been preoccupied with lots of other stuff lately and I'm afraid Team UK has been on the back burner. When did the URL for the stats change and I assume that I have to update my SIG URL here in WCG settings. OK - I'll try to sort it and if not I'll be back.

Re: More Bling!

OK - I changed the Team URL with no problem but the sig seems to have evaporated. This is what I wrote

https://wcg.codegibbons.uk/wcg/sigs/RTS48.png

With the at beginning and end

I can't see anything wrong but my forum Sig does not like it as you can see. HELP??
