BTW, does anyone know why my "global" UK rank doesn't show up yet? I've had UK selected in My Profile for over a month but nothing's appeared yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not sure about this Distemper. Looking on my stats site, there is no sign of you in my table of UK members. However, Euphoriabuzz (another recent joiner to the team) does show up. Probably a daft question, but in your profile have you definitely selected "United Kingdom" as your country, and has it saved correctly?
----------------------------------------In order to generate the UK rank, I have to download the summary statistics for every WCG member that has UK as the country. You aren't showing up as UK, hence the "N/A".

FYI, I've added the ability to display a Team UK stats signature on my site. Anywhere you see a member name (other than the list of leavers), just click on the name and the signature should pop up. Press Escape or click outside of the popup to get rid of it.

Distemper shows up on the system stats page for country 'United Kingdom', code 'GB', see www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewCountrySt...points&countryCode=GB, so I don't understand the problem either. It sounds like one for the techs to look at.
[When will people (especially, but not limited to, non-UK-residents) learn to differentiate between the United Kingdom and Great Britain? It's not as if they're even remotely the same thing. Indeed, simply remembering what 'United Kingdom' is shorthand for gives a tiny clue. One is a country and the other is a geographic feature (which is only a part of the country).] |

It sounds like one for the techs to look at. Thanks for that Apis. In the next few days, if I'm sober enough, I'll run through it in a debugger and try to work out what's happening to Distemper. It might be something up with the XML data that I get back, upsetting my software.

Thanks for tracking me down, I actually had trouble finding it myself so I thought it was a wider problem with WCG and I was missing something. In any case I was hoping it was an easy fix but that doesn't seem to be the case here :) No rush in that case, enjoy your Christmas and New Year everyone.

By the look of it my software is probably crashing on the first "anonymous" person in the UK. I'll fix it in the next few days.
