Sadly I have suffered a relapse. Finally succumbed and seeing my GP this afternoon.

A little bit I guess, the only event with a medal is the sprint, he started off well but then stopped running and just jogged over the finish line, he can run fast and should have at least finish in the top 3. Oh, well, there is always next year.

Sorry to hear of your relapse Dave. I hope your GP can fix it. I must admit that I lost confidence in my GP (or specifically the whole Practice) in my last encounter with them. I picked up s stomach bug here a couple of years ago and without going into too much detail - on my return to the UK - I lost 4kg in a week. Analyses were prescribed and soon done only for my GP to proclaim that there was nothing wrong with me (which was self evidently wrong). As a result of their bungling I ended up visiting a specialist back here who took one look at me (and my sample), prescribed 1 (yes only 1) tablet and everything was cleared up in 24 hours. He said it was amoebic - a suggestion I had made to my GP which he had resolutely ignored and not analysed for even though I had told him that I was living in the sub tropics. Ah well.

So my prediction of a hung parliament has been realised. This is just what the UK needs - a disunited approach to Brexit. We await with trepidation events yet to unfold.
