Well, I didn't make it to Silverstone. The number of trips to the lavatory is now well into double figures over the last 24 hours, but at least my temperature is almost back to normal, and I'm finally feeling hungry. I expect I'll be fine for work tomorrow, having spent the whole weekend feeling dreadful.

Well, I didn't make it to Silverstone. The number of trips to the lavatory is now well into double figures over the last 24 hours, but at least my temperature is almost back to normal, and I'm finally feeling hungry. I expect I'll be fine for work tomorrow, having spent the whole weekend feeling dreadful. Sorry to hear that you have continued your run (sic) of bad (Silverstone) luck. If I were you I'd take a couple of days off work to get your strength (and fluid levels) back to normal. Still you didn't miss much by not driving the Ferrari - now, if it had been a Mercedes I'd be gutted!   Pun intended.

Good morning all. I woke up to a nice shiny diamond 5 for SCC this morning, I'm now heading off for my 20 yr OET but also may return to Open Zika of the mood takes me.

Come on Dave - chin up! Look on you present illness as a way for your body to build up immunity for the future. I can't remember the last time I had any serious colds or flu and normally any stomach upsets are self induced from over indulgence in loopy juice.
----------------------------------------Did you manage to reschedule your Silverstone experience? I went on a single seat experience there in 1998 as a 50th Birthday present. I enjoyed it immensely.

Did you manage to reschedule your Silverstone experience? I went on a single seat experience there in 1998 as a 50th Birthday present. I enjoyed it immensely. Sadly I couldn't reschedule Silverstone, because this was already a reschedule of when I did my back in. My immune system was fine thank you, until I had all those good bacteria purged from my intestines. Anyway, as Theresa May might say, I'm feeling strong & stable this afternoon.
