Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning all. I hope that your hangovers have evaporated by now (or if you are still drinking boy have you got a doozey to come!). I packed the family off to the Circus last night (no animals, lots of clowns and 'H&C' running pickpockets!) while I got on with activating / programming / restoring two iPhones which were Christmas presents. Both needed an upgrade to IOS 10.2 so there was a delay while the appropriate files were downloaded. So - I poured myself a drink (actually several) and got down to watching a few titles from my film collection. Perfect peace!

Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning all.
Time to start thinking about all those new Years resolutions (that will probably only last a day or two before they are forgotten). My resolution is to get a good quality, working UPS so that the intermittent spikes and voltage drops don't keep knocking my iMac out.

Re: Good morning everyone

Good Morning everyone. How is the weather in the UK? I'm planning a trip back there in January and I'm not looking forward to the cold. It's been over a year since I was back there, I wonder if I will recognise my town?

Re: Good morning everyone

Not too bad in Belfast, warm enough not to need a coat when going outside.

Re: Good morning everyone

Down here in the SW of England its been freezing for the last 2 nights but bright and sunny during the day. It probably won't last long and the temps will go back up to unseasonably warm shortly. We've had a few days of over 10degrees C which is not really winter, had to blat a mozzie a couple of weeks ago. Little blighters aren't supposed to out at this time of year!

If your home town is like most then there will be some parts that have change a lot and others that are exactly the same. Hopefully you will recognise it or else you'll just drive straight past it wink

Re: Good morning everyone

Reminds me of when I returned home to Bury after being away for 22 years in the army, I honestly didn't recognise the town centre. It had all been revamped, roads built over, new roads built, the market place completely relocated, a pyramid park built where there was once a railway...etc etc...
