Belated (I think) birthday greetings to Thargor. I had just started out on my 41 year career with British Gas Research in your year of birth (1973 if my math is correct).
Indeed good news about your wife TMC, I ho[e that she continues to gain strength and fitness and that you have seen the back of her problems.
Hopefully I have my final 'eyes' assessment today and I can start to book the operations. New eyes for Christmas?

Evening all. Lots going on at the moment I see in the forum.

Belated Birthday wishes Thargor, sounds like you had a good one.

While bad news on the employment front TMC, here's to getting back to work soon, but fantastic news on your wife's health. Hopefully it's all behind you now and things will be on the up.

And finally before I toodle off for some kip, as at the mid-day update I'm 54 days short of 10years on MCM which I'm hoping to get to by the end of the weekend. praying

Thanks genhos, bad news unfortunately - the last injection to reduce my retinal oedema didn't work so I need another ($2200). Scheduled for Tuesday next. Possibly I'll still be squinting by Christmas!
On the crunching front I'm expecting my 5yr Diamond for Zika in a couple of days. I'm still waiting to get to grips with HST1 - I really don't like their Ruby badge!
