There are two types of people in this world; those who worship the ideal of centralized command authority, and those who do not. Those who value freedom regardless of risk or pain, and those who value slavery in a desperate bid to avoid risk and pain. When I consider the ultimate folly of man, in the end I look to the meek and unquestioning masses who strive to avoid risk, because it is they who always end up feeding the machines of war, despair, and tyranny. The power thirsty halls of elitism surely instigate and manipulate the tides of this wretched ocean of quivering souls, but ultimately, the weak-hearted and weak minded make all terrible conquests possible.

In present-day America, we are being bombarded with increasingly dire headlines about the condition of our nation. Common elements among these headlines of domestic disorder and discontent are reports of unbridled government overreach into our lives, from much-publicized gun control laws, warrantless searches and seizures, to the perverse and absurdly shameful degradation of our human dignity at the hands of the TSA and the DHS.
----------------------------------------Today, we are facing an assault on our freedoms for which those who lived before us have shed their blood, entrusting us with the gift of an indivisible nation under God. Yes, under God. Time seems to have separated us from the ultimate sacrifices of our forefathers, for we no longer see their blood that once stained dirt on the battlefields of America. We no longer relate to the sorrows of our ancestors or their sacrifices, nor do we feel the pride of their successes. We are no longer taught the history of a nation that freed itself from tyranny and oppression. Instead, we are subjected to the deliberate perversion of history that characterizes our founders as terrorists—along with portraying those of us who object to such depictions as threats to the state—by an ever-increasing totalitarian government operating in tandem with modern-day academia and a state-sponsored press. http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/...ions&utm_medium=email |

Communism Survivor Explains Why Our 2nd Amendment Rights Must Not Be Infringedhttp://conservative50plus.com/blog/communism-...AIGN&utm_medium=email When freedom is lost in the US where do you think the rest of the world will be--and its coming A repost from days gone by. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1823003/posts World Gun Control History 4/24/07 | Unknown Posted on 04/24/2007 6:23:30 PM PDT by Patriot2000 I just had a client in this Thursday from Eagen MN. His son tried to break up a fight, and got shot and killed by the lady he was trying to help. If you were the father witnessing this event, would you rather stand there and watch your son die, or have a gun and use it to save your sons life? Now please read what has happened to countries that turned in their guns. Chuck Gun History Whether you agree or not, it's an interesting lesson in history. Something to think about... In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. ------------------------------ In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. ------------------------------ Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated. ------------------------------ China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. ------------------------------ Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. ------------------------------ Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. ------------------------------ Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million 'educated' people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. ----------------------------- Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million. ------------------------------ So it might be said that guns don't kill people, gun control does! It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in: Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent. Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)! In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns! While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed. There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it. You won't see this data on the American evening news or hear our president, governors or other politicians disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws affect only the law-abiding citizens. Take note my fellow Americans.....before it's too late! The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson. With guns, we are 'citizens'. Without them, we are 'subjects'. We here in America have the second amendment (thank God) "The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed" Gun control, for our safety and the safety of the children, is the cry of those that would forfeit our God given right to self defense! (remember the 56 million who died for lack of guns to defend themselves) If you value your freedom, Please spread this anti-gun control message to all of your friends and acquaintances.
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

The Boston Marathon Bombing and Amnesty for Illegal Aliens The Boston Marathon bombing was a glaring and painful lesson in the premise of the much touted gun-control legislation, which was thankfully defeated this week in the Senate. Liberals and the administration were angry that their own brethren, the Democrats, could not gather enough votes to pass the anti-gun legislation that only 4 percent of Americans supported. This legislation would have denied 2nd Amendment rights to 96 percent of Americans who wished to defend themselves against home invasions. http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/...ed&utm_medium=twitter
