The swap will actually happen at 38225. Thanks, -Uplinger Uplinger, Now I wonder, have we only be testing with batches of old build to get these stable on the new app, and then compare the results with same from the old app, or have we also had some pass with the new-build-batches ? [seen betas of 38119-38224] (Leading up to speculation you/we still need to beta the new batches. :P) Sek, We were running work units for the new build. The researchers have asked that we run those batches also on the old code so they can compare. We are sending the results from the beta to them as well as the regular run on the old code. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Puzzled more. If new build batches were run on old code, what version was that identified with in Beta? The last 7.11 Beta I had was on Feb.14. All the others were 7.15, which is now in production. Sorry if being a PITP

The differences between 7.11 and 7.15 are due to the graphics binary and not the science applicaiton executable. The results use the same code base of the updated science code.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

OK, think I've worked out what you did [the "at start" assumption I had on how to ensure you/we still got apples-apples. :D]

I don't know if this is the right thread cause of no beta in WU name - but
----------------------------------------I got since 27. February three FAAH WUs, two of them are on work and loop permanently between 26 min 27 s and 26 min bzw. 25 min 8 s and 25 min 17 s! Message is full with: Mi 27 Feb 2013 21:04:35 CET | World Community Grid | Restarting task faah38298_ZINC12781068_xPR_wC6_11_1ref9_00_0 using faah version 715 in slot 0 Mi 27 Feb 2013 21:04:36 CET | World Community Grid | Restarting task faah38300_ZINC05414947_xPR_wC6_11_1ref9_00_1 using faah version 715 in slot 1 I'll kill them both and have an eye on the third, which is working without problems (1h 55 min) so far! They loop near the end of each docking, some do that quite a few times, all normal, but if they do that for hours on end, restart the tasks (switch "Leave application in memory when suspended" off, suspend tasks and resume after 30 seconds). We had that symptom occasionally with HPF2. Not good though.
Thnks for reporting. |

Too late, but thanks for the fast respond.
----------------------------------------If i remember it right, i did an restart yesterday cause of security updates - so the WUs got an complete new chance! :~$ uptime 16:34:56 up 1 day, 21:12, 1 user, load average: 1.87, 2.19, 2.30 So it seems, an suspend or restart does not cure the problem...
