Looks like IBM Corp have up'ed the anti (now with 673 team members) but we're still holding on to that 2nd place (for points per day) with our 190 team mates only beaten by the 3299 strong /. We are still looking for our 200th Team Mate MyOnlineTeam and the WCG needs you. Dave -- While it pleases me that MyOnlineTeam is doing so well, I am even more pleased to see that the point totals for Team WCG as a whole is also creeping up. We aren't where we were back in January and February, but slowly we are getting up there. That may be another side of what you are seeing in the IBM Corp team stats now that WCG is part of the standard software load on IBM's internal PC's. It would sure be nice to see the software implemented on all their PC's by more Partners in the WCG. I can't wait to see the impact that a Linux client will have. I know it will have a big one on our team with all of the Linux systems Stefan has available to him, but it should be outstanding for the entire community! I just hope that the project team at IBM has that next project pretty close to roll-out soon after the Linux crunchers join our efforts. I think we may almost crunch off the end of the current project when Linux rolls out. You mentioned how quiet it has gotten in the team thread as of late. I hope that has been caused by summer holidays and nice weather keeping folks away from their PC's. It is nice to note that the team keeps on crunchin' even though we haven't been so talkative. I've picked up a couple of "semi" monsters One's on 72% after 19 hours and 15 mins and the other is on 70% after 14 hours. Anyone else noticed any change. btw IT'S FRIDAY Hi Dave -- I have been having a few large work units come my way. Seems that they go to my old Pentium 3 mostly. Just finished one that took about 48 hours over there today. My 240 MHz P4 has been seeing a lot that come close to 24 hours. Glad you mentioned it was Friday. Hard to tell the difference from one day to another when you are retired -- you also don't have the opportunity to look forward to holidays.Your friend and team mate, |
