Get new GPU WU's - have 3 BSOD "Reference_by_pointer" on 10 min, cancel all GPU WU's - normal work 2 hours and so on. 5770, X4 630, win 7 32

Re: HCC Beta Test 9/5/2012 Post problems here

If there were any modifications done to the most recent batch of GPU WUs, it's working as I did not receive one single error. The WUs were crunched on six different GPUs.

Re: HCC Beta Test 9/5/2012 Post problems here

Out of about 270 crunched WUs, I only had 4 that errored out with code 293. Funny, how ehose four were all in subsequent WUs in my queue...

Did you get any GPU not found errors?

Re: HCC Beta Test 9/5/2012 Post problems here

Many errors on my side too:

CPU: i7 1366 950 @ 4Ghz
GPU: SLI 2*GTX285 (stock)

I have had around 60 tasks..... all but 1 have gotten the 'computational error'.

Most of the time I get the GPU_type not found error:
INFO: gpu_type not found in init_data.xml.
INFO: GPU device not specified in init_data.xml. Checking Commandline.
ERROR: GPU device not specified in init_data.xml or on command line. Exiting.
03:34:08 (1872): called boinc_finish

Some run for 1 second or so and come with an error... and the ones which do run, stall when the task hits 99.4% and just sits there until it either fails or tries restarting....
Funny enough If i suspend the stalling task and resume it, it starts from 0 again and hangs......

Running GPU tasks with your GPUs in SLI mode can cause problems.Try running with SLI disabled or remove the SLI bridge.
