Not sure if the techs opened up the BETA's to a wider range of cards, but one of my borged machines with a 210 picked one up. Too bad it is used for gaming quite a bit. It might be a while before it finishes and reports. If these do indeed work now, that is good news for me.

Picked up seven units, so far five have ended in errors, one was server aborted and the other is still in progress.

Received about 500 WUs the past 18 hours on 6 mixed amd/nvidia GPUs. About 100 (20%) randomly error with "GPU not found" all on the Nvidia GPUs (GTX570, GTX560ti & GTX550ti) All GPUs AMD & Nvidia runs very cool indicating that they are not fully utilized to their full capability. FWIW I'm having about a 15% failure rate. All with the same GPU not found error. All on ATI.

Hi nanoprobe I don't get a choice in how many WU's run With GPUGrid as it's only a percentage of teh CPU Core the remaining bit gets used by a WCG WU. This all plays nicely - all 7 WU's On WCG HCC Beta it uses 1 full CPU Core and 1 full GPU so only 5 CPU cores remaining 6 WU's This doesn't play nicely and as a result I'm typing this on a Xubuntu Lappy running 4 DSFL's without any apparant ill effects Dave ..and I was going to go to bed early and get some badly needed shuteye - Doh! - then Kevin dishes up these beta's Dave Trying freeing one of your CPU cores when you're running GPUGrid and see how much faster the GPU task finishes. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I got 4 BETA work units all run in less than 1 minute (one at a time) to 99.415% then like others they get stuck, have let them run for well over 1 hour, no change. Suspended with and without leave app in memory and even restarted my machine, no success. I have finally aborted them. Have ATI R7950 on intel i5-3570 with windows 7 64 bit.

All WCG's GPU WU's I witnessed ended in Computation Error after about 2 odd hours each. Also during the operations the GPU was stressed to the point my Win7 OS taskbar was flashing/flickering when the wallpaper cycled ,which SETI (the project I usually commit my GPU to) never does.
If it was intentionally or knowingly for the moment over-taxing the GPU, that's cool. Just thought I should mention it, as I have a GTX 580 which is no slouch! I imagine it would render a lower spec system nigh unusable. Cheers |

Got 31 with gpu not found error
36 returned valid On my system with the NVidia card the video was very choppy while a WU was running and returned to normal as soon as it finished. |

Received 92 total. 3 had errors, 1 invalid, crunching on an ATI 6950. My ATI 5670 didn't receive any. Must have been cut from the list.

Intel I5 quad core w/ 8GB memory
NVIDIA GT 240 1024 MB DDR3 Dedicated video memory So Far a total of 5 Beta WU's The first two Beta's stuck at 99.415%. and after waiting a couple of hours I aborted them. I got 3 more Beta's but they did not start up automatically. I was cpu crunching GFAM on all four of my cores. When I suspended all my GFAM WU's except for those running on 3 of my 4 cores - a BETA would start up, but it would only run for less than a minute before erroring out. I doubt they ever used the GPU. Since all 5 WU's were on exactly the same hardware, I don't know why I got two different types of results? |

everything that came my way so far seems to have errored on hd 5870 Interested to know; The verbose reporting of this as seen in previous posts.... Do I need to set flags? or is this not seen in Event Log? I think what you're looking for is not in the Event Log but in the Results Status for the WU. Go to the Results Status page and click on the link in the Status column.
