Just noticed that all my CEP uploads are failing, maybe Harvard's giant Linksys router needs to be unplugged and then plugged back in?

Yes. I responded at https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,33104 before I noticed that this was the older thread.

Legrandpiou: "In the same time no WU's can be downloaded for that project." (CEP2)
Unless you have set "Number of workunits per host for CEP2" in your Device Manager to Unlimited, CEP2 WUs will automatically stop coming because the stuck uploads will prevent BOINC from reporting them as done, so they can't be cleared from your work queue to make room for new CEP2 tasks. I'm a little surprised that we've heard nothing on this problem from officialdom as yet. Meanwhile, please select some other WCG projects to stop those machines of yours becoming lazy layabouts ![]() |

Likewise, finished CEP2 WUs stuck in uploading on all hosts... Luckily, it's not the only project running on those, but could cause a clogged upload pipe if the secondary CEP2 WUs finish as well before this gets cleared out... And just for the record, other project's WUs upload and report just fine... Ralf |

Me, too...something like 70 CEP2 tasks stuck "project backoff". (Edit: More like 70 files stuck, affecting almost 30 tasks.)

Speaking for officialdom (
) We need a very pompous icon.I posted this problem about 5 and 1/2 hours ago on a highly secure secret forum to the WCG staff. Somebody looked at it. My best guess is that the research assistants in Cambridge are out sleeping. Wait for rosy-fingered dawn. Lawrence |
