The first Beta WU of this batch just finished here in 2h 57m on my i5-750, with no problems. Checkpoints occurred every 1-2 minutes, maximum memory requirement about 270MB. The estimated time to completion seems to jump downwards every time there's a checkpoint.
Edit: all 4 WU on the i5-750 are now finished, with consistent CPU Times in 2.90-2.92 hours.
May I have some more, please?
