I described a problem I had with Win 7 regarding downloading in the SN2S forum. Of all the things I tried, what really worked was to go to Transfers and do a Retry on one of the WUs in the middle of the list. All but the first two downloaded and the status was still downloading for all the WUs. I was then able to download the second WU followed by downloading the first, using Retry for both. In going back to the Tasks, everything was now running. I had this same problem occur on my other quad, but there was one difference. All of the WUs on the Tasks were all showing a status of Downloading, but when I checked Transfers there were only two WUs being downloaded. Whatever I did I could not get those WUs to download. I do recall that, in resolving the problem on the other quad, I had done a reboot. So... I did the reboot for the quad with the WUs all in downloading status, and when I checked the ststus after the reboot, all was operating properly. |

 Good Thursday Morning Team Congratulations xroule and Daeloan!!  David old friend. I see those numbers and they look great. I presume that mine are somewhat similar if I were to look at combined BOINC credits. Our old friend DataMan used to talk about it here. I suppose it is just my prejudice to mostly ignore those things and only focus on WCG projects. Yes I am running stuff at GPUGRID but that is just "filler" in my mind till I can be running WCG GPU stuff full blast. I am sure many view that as myopic; such is life. dkt newer friend. I see what you are saying there. I really do not understand how all that works personally but have encountered similar problems and have resolved them mostly just by shutting down the BOINC Manager and tasks and restarting them. I have not tried any of that with BoincTasks. Everybody take this next to last opportunity this work week to have a great day.
