I was looking at the project stats and projections (here ) and I noticed that SN2S only has about a year to go. I wasn't aware that the project was going to be done so quickly. I'm going to have to direct my systems that way to make sapphire before it's done ...

Wow! Interesting. If the project is 7.5 percent done and only has a tad over a year left, it would seem to be a pretty small project. However, I would think that that 7.5 percent done number has to be based on a total number of WUs for the project. If, as I read in the SN2S forum, it has a WU structure similar to DDDT2 where the AAA, AAB, etc. WUs are generated from the completed Annnnnn WUs, then that percent complete could be based on a low number. The project is only about a month old so far. Still, you may well be right.

 Good Morning My Online Team Congratulations Esteban69! I am not a Basketball fan but for those that are, this must be nirvana. I am hearing (from a friend that will remain nameless here) the NVIDIA based GPU cards will end up dis-favored by the WCG. Opinions? Today I get to do some plumbing (literally under a sink). Hard on an old man with a new, not yet completely recovered knee.Everyone have a great day.. Seriously! |

Good morning to all this Sunday, although I know by now (9:22 PST) it is afternoon and evening on the east coast and Europe. I am getting close to having my taxes paid off at which time I will consider buying a new system. I have already begun searching for sources for the best available system but I want to ask for input about what some of you think may be the best system to get at this time. I have been investigating what's available at EVGA where they have mother boards and graphics cards, and software, but I think I may be gravitating toward a new tower enclosure and display.
