SekeRob, as can be seen from Dataman's forum posts, the badge is also appearing before the GFAM badge as well (probably due to the same issue - just a different symptom).

You guys are correct, SN2S should be shown before GFAM. We will fix this sometime in the next few weeks. It has to do with the primary key of the project table having a lower value for SN2S than for GFAM even though the launch date of the project was later. We only added the launch date field to the table recently so there are some queries that still rely on the value of the primary key for the ordering of data.

What a sweet project to run!! Quick downloads, efficient resource utilization, good checkpoints that work and 2 second uploads. What more could a cruncher want?
---------------------------------------- I have a question. All of the ones I've run have format: SN2S_Annnnn_* I have one and only one in the format SN2S_AAAnnnnn_*. It had a very short run time Any significance to this format? Anyone else get any? Cheers! ![]() EDIT: Never mind, I'm getting a lot of AAA's now. Sorry. EDIT2: Cost of badges. Just looked at my PG&E bill that cut off at midnight: PG&E energy statement (e-Bills) information Amount Due: $652.42 Due Date: March 9, 2012 ![]() ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Dataman at Feb 23, 2012 4:02:08 PM] |

The reason that we see this performance is, because at first the techs were not happy with the high resource use during the alpha phases [which is why it got out later than GFAM ;O]. Lauding on making that decision to make it better than "the best is almost not good enough]... workset peak use per Process Explorer is 20MB, 45MB in VM, 8 concurrent running at 100% CPU load with an adhered at most WtD of 10 minutes setting.

There sure is a mix of run times. Less that 2 hours to more that 10 hours on the same cruncher.

Picked up 63 SN2S jobs waiting to run, 11 running and 13 pending validation. A very nice surprise today. Could have used more beta jobs but great ti see SN2S in production.

Just had to reboot due to a display problem. After the system was back up I had 11 SN2S jobs that had a status of "Computational Error".

Well yes, display problems and then the results croaking with those codes -1073741510 and -1073741502 [See Start Here FAQ index where they're listed], is not a not to be expected consequence.
If you have more than 1 computer, try to shut down the core client first through remote connection via BOINC Manager or BOINCTasks. Only then hit the power cycle button. Summary quick prelim conclude: Nothing to do with SN2S specifically. --//-- |
