To get some batch number feedback crunching them on one machine, and see just in 2508 of the 2500-2544 series, approximately 18 percent gone out the hopper [assuming equal batch content]. Set off against 342,000 [parent] validations, quorum 2, through yesterday on 7 batches returned [guess], that's about 48K tasks per batch, so far. If the remainder is of similar size, we'd be looking at 2.2 million parents overall. Since 1.3M were mentioned, if it were already quorum 2, there's 1M or so to go. If not, nearly 2.3M [of parents]. However it flows, they're going now at 65K per day [parent size], which is currently averaging 6.2 hours per task.

Got Ruby! Now its going hot again in Austria and must shutdown some more cpu cores so emerald would be wide over 30 days away. Canceled the rest of the WUs for the other crunchers witch need more for there next badge :)

If you look at Sekerob's earlier post, he just punched in the original 45 day estimate and is reducing that number by 1 as each day passes. So that number could be much higher or lower than what is really left.

Netted a few to do some graphics testing and see the batch distribution progress. Got a 2517 parent looking to finish in under 1:45 hours. Last parent batch is 2544... and then the offspring comes.

I really must say, I don't understand anything of these parent, child and grandchild maths... but I do know that I am at 63 days now (plus some days in PV-jail) and I really want to reach that gold badge! Hopefully my two little office machines will make it :)

Carter11, me too. But parent 2503 was sent out on Jun 8, parent 2517 on Jun 20. It looks like 1.16 parent per day. Last parent is 2544 so it's about 23 days left. I hpoe so, because I have 206 days to get Saphire :)
