sighhh .... a mermaid doesn't understand too much of the techie stuff and things that will
only make sense if you have a knowledge - actually most of the recent post are as difficult as the techie speak at *The Survivors*'s lab or in the parlour of The Edwardians when they begin really insular not belonging to Europe nor the USA talk - in indiscernable dialect which they never taught me in school. sighhhh @LM, Sean, to take full advantage of your GPU and other crunching power, Curious.... Do your migrant crunching quest with Base Camp include other crunching project efforts? I love the idea but have very limitted resources for WCG where this team is concerned. It would be easier for me to camp out some GPU project type support :) Base Camp(ers) has helped us here in the past and I'd like to find a way to return the favor. I would recommend looking at The Musketeers with whom Base Camp has excellent cooperation. The Musketeers do all kind of exciting projects here, there, and especially everywhere. I'm away from my pc now and don't have my bookmarks up to date on my laptop, but I'll look into it and be back with a link for you. I assure you these guys will keep you busy. Base Camp has done a few (3 to be exact) socalled "Outpost Treks" - meaning outside WCG, but we don't do many - mainly because Mother Hen cannot figure out how to do it. ![]() |

Whoo Hooo I might have to go to the other side of the team for awhile, idk. No dark side for you! Way to go team. Meanwhile we are 13 days into this and it looks good so far. Looks like we might place 7th in the team challenge today. |

Actually, Folding@Home and WCG are just two of the 33+ DC projects for which EVGA has a team. See the Crunching@EVGA page at DC Vault to see all of them.
----------------------------------------So there are no sides, or at least 33+ sides lol. We are one team contributing to many projects based on interests. By the way, I finally passed 1 year total run time! |

TY. Don't worry about techie ability, IMO you have one of the most unique abilities. That being bridge building . Be very proud of that. Again TY for being you. |

Nice accomplishment. Good to see more posting here as well.
There is a history here, I'm trying hard to find a way to make it "history". All ideas always welcome. TY for posting here. |

Thank you for your kind words, Sean.
I don't think it's for me to suggest not being part of the team permanently and not knowing the full story, but normally your conscience will guide you. I call my conscience my moral GPS. What do you call yours? What does it suggest you do? ![]() |
