No inuendo intended. Just voicing an opinion. Sorry if you don't agree with it. Quit twisting every post I make into something it was not intended to be.

Sean, I think most of us here know exactly what you are meaning to say. It isn't hard to understand. The twisting that is happening here is coming from you IMO. But for some reason you are not able to see these things when people point them out to you. If I were the sole person saying it, then you would have a point. But look at how many different people are trying to communicate these things to you. We can't all be wrong.

As a team we do have 152 member's in BOINC at this time. However this is the WCG forum and those statements do cause a little confusion.
----------------------------------------With WCG we only currently have ever had 127 members. 16 of which have retired, leaving us with 111 current WCG members. Not 152. |

Sorry if it somehow confused anyone. The post was simply made to let any Crunching WCG teammate know that there are other ways (in addition to WCG) to help out the Overall Crunching Team with their GPU's. Lotta great projects that they may not be aware of. I added a Boinc stas page link for us as well.

I'm sure that this was the 1st project under this Team name. I am further sure that it was expanded to all BOINC and a concerted effort was made to get that to happen. So I guess I'm just a bit lost as to why any reference to the Boinc-wide Team would be treated as such. Ie the reference to this is a WCG thread by Afterburners.
That makes no sense at all. It is a WCG forum, true. But much talk by this WCG team and from other than WCG teams has occurred in the past and in this thread. All I was refferring to was other interests that at least Share the same Team name. |

Happy to help ![]() And for further clarification to new folks or those casually reading... WCG was not the first project for Crunching@EVGA. Actually around 2008 a few other projects (Seven I think) had been started by our original founder. When we posted the idea of expanding the ranks and projects we could do we orchestrated a name change voted by our members. Cool... and while things were happening I went and posted some concept art for the things we've been talking about. Right now it's just my take on what Texinga did... since he was nice enough to send me his PSD files.
Just let me know if I'm on the right track folks! |

Thanks Afterburners,
That's some good information except I'm doubting the validity of the way in which it has been depicted by yourself. 1) were the "7 you think" called a bunch of different names and if so why? 2) Who was the original founder of which you speak? 3) Why the "I think" if the whole story can be read at the posted link? One would think a Team Captain could be much more clear on the whole post. |
