Hello MOT! Thought I'd drop in and say hi. Been a while since I've posted here through the mix of school and life. I've been folding on and off at EVGA and came back to crunching again recently. Anyway, just checking in to see how everyone is doing. ![]() I see your team is crunching@EVGA. Does this mean you work for or are otherwise associated with EVGA. I picked up an EVGA graphics card about a week ago and it has been doing a good job. Affiliated support forum moderator and game server admin, but not an official employee. Hey Blizzie!! So good to hear from you and glad to see you are crunchng again. I taked to Jonathan the other day. He's moving to the left coast to a job at Stanford. So glad to see you are both doing well. My best to you ... ![]() Hey DM, good to see you posting again. How's the motor home adventures going? Hope all is well with you!

Good Afternoon MOT Congratulations Brown Chris and Coingames!! Team Wide congratulations for 300 Million Hey Judson. That is just an artifact from project switching. No change in cruncher configuration. I do work from time to time for NASA and believe me, they don't need my computing. Hey DM. Long time no see. Like brown chris said How is the Motorhome thing going. Hope everything is OK. One of your friends in Texas. |

My best to you ... ![]() Hey DM, good to see you posting again. How's the motor home adventures going? Hope all is well with you! Hey Chris!! We are doing great, thanks for asking. Since leaving in August we have meandered approx.. 2,400 miles and made some extended stops at many places. We have the Yogi Berra motto, “If you see a fork in the road, take it.” Among them have been two weeks out in the NM desert near (sorta) Ya-Te-Hey, NM where we never saw a single person or had any connectivity during that time but had wonderful adventures. Also extended stops in Winslow, AZ (as in “Standin’ on the corner …”) and Roswell, NM (a UFO head trip in and of itself). We stayed in and around Ojo Caliente and Taos, NM for over a month until we saw snow flurries and got tired of looking at little red pots with squiggly lines on them; then we drifted down the West Texas panhandle (what a god awful place but a fine one to store nuclear waste … I kept humming the theme from “Deliverance”) to San Antonio, (beautiful town). We planned to stay here 5 days but have been here over two weeks. We spent Thanksgiving in a “Dude Ranch” in the Texas Hill Country (spectacular beauty) quite by accident. Due to CRS, I forgot it was Thanksgiving week when I made reservation. Thanksgiving was awesome there!! I think they cooked everything that has hooves or wings and seemed to be offended if you didn’t polish off half a hog for breakfast. Sometime this week (maybe) we will pull out for Corpus Christi. “The Plan” (as if we actually had one) is to winter down around there until Jan-Feb. But who knows? Remote crunching is a trip. When I can get a WiFi connection to the desktop in the RV, I can login to my CA network and do almost everything I could do at home. What I can’t do (like start a machine), the house sitter’s help me out with. One funny thing was while we were out in the desert, WCG started the lesh project, opted me in and by the time we got connectivity again I found I had a gold badge in a project I didn't even know existed. How weird is that? What an amazing time we live in. I’ve been following your solar adventure. That is an amazing success story. With the big batteries I had built and the solar array we are almost self-sufficient. Only fresh water is a problem. Women, it seems, use a lot more than men. Maybe that’s why they are soft and smell so good. Cheers MOT and crunch on … ![]() ![]() |

Sorry about the wise cracks about the panhandle but even a Texan has to admit it ain't exactly "awash with purdy". Having a great time in San Antonio though. It has been a splendid trip so far. ![]() |
