I will pray for Maggi-and put her on our prayer list--I hope she recovers--it is heart breaking i know as my wife succumbed to breast cancer after a four year battle--

my prayers are with Maggi, and Bob, as they come to terms with this development.
I've spoken to Maggi in the past when we were on UD and FAD. She is a lovely lady, and I'm glad that she found 'Mr. Right' (Bob). She was worried about her son, Tom, who is autistic, so I will be praying for them too. |

Today I received an e-mail from Bob.
Hello John, This is to let you know that Maggi died in her sleep on Sunday 29/7/12 at 2120hrs. Thank you all for your prayers which gave Maggi strength. I cannot say more; my heart is broken. Kind regards Bob  |

Thank you John for passing this news on so quickly. I've been one of the silent ones following this thread regularly from the beginning. Having been thru a cancer scare with my wife about ten years ago and now recovering from my own case of prostate cancer, Maggi's case resonated with me. To see anyone battle pancreatic cancer for so long and to see them actually make headway against it at times shows the power of hope, faith and prayer. I won't forget Maggi anytime soon and will be especially mindful of Bob and Tom in the days and weeks ahead.
