Looking at Windows Task Manager on the i7 with an SSD:
boinc.exe
I/O Writes 1,499.595
I/O Write Bytes 1,579,021,984

That does not include the 8 WCG tasks running 24/7.
The last restart was about 3 days ago.

This PC has been online with an SSD since 11/27/2011.
So far no problems but I do keep close watch for signs of failure.
I am running a Samsung 830 SSD.
Here are the results of Samsung 840 SSD testing, which shows that they exceed the advertised lifespan:
