Looked at BOINCstats/BAM! | BOINC combined stats and was surprised at the low active percentage numbers for BOINC:
Users 2,680,584
Active users 236,455 (8.82%)
Teams 99,321
Active teams 20,701 (20.84%)

The WCG percentages are better:
Users 420,803
Active users 67,872 (16.13%)
Teams 22,375
Active teams 7,384 (33.00%)

I appreciate the contribution made by each and every team member.
We would not be were we are without your participation.

There may not be a cure in my lifetime, however I feel better running WCG than mailing a check to someone I don't know.
It would be cheaper to make a cash contribution than to run multiple PCs 24/7 but to me it is worth the cost to run WCG research.
I know this research is not as exciting as video games but in my mind there is no comparison in worth.

I have been working on a new signature to make it unique.
The background is fractal art, which has been distorted by the signature software.
It resembles a tilted DVD disk reflecting a variety of fabric-like colors.
In reality it is nothing but formulas and options, many of which I don't know.

Is this what I set out to do?
Ah..., maybe not!

The only problem is that it is impossible to find a font color that works with this colorful background.

For the present I am happy with this signature.
If it develops problems I will change again.

Sorry I couldn't put more colors in it.
Fractal geometry is difficult for someone still learning the times tables.

The goal was to make the signature unique not hazardous.
Maybe it needs a disclaimer?
