Re: "The survivors"

I'm back from my holiday in Mexico... already missing the 80+ degree days. Two days of relative cold before going to Florida for Thanksgiving. When I finally get back for good I KNOW I am not going to want to go back to work. crying

I have been doing this since 2007 and have recently upgraded to 5 PCs so it is not a fair comparison.

Running one GPU....
Running multiple GPU threads would do even better because it uses the lost GPU run time during the CPU run time......
Even with that I couldn't catch dl1000v whom is indeed a big fish in a little pond.

Re: "The survivors"

They have run out of work units for HCC1--most likely because some crunchers are running multiple GPU threads and are getting TFlops performance..
Switching to HFCC until it runs out of work.

Re: "The survivors"

this week we lost a neighbor to breast cancer.
Barbara was a good friend to my wife and she will be dearly missed by both of us.
Barbara was afraid to go to the doctor because of what they might find.
When she did go it was too late.
This was a fatal error.

Years ago I lost my mother to breast cancer.
My mother always said that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".
But in the case of beast cancer there is no known prevention so early detection is essential.
This is a terrible way to die.
It is slow and painful.
As it progresses breathing becomes more difficult.
I have never seen such suffering.

I am thankful that when found early breast cancer is treatable and survival rates are improving.

Re: "The survivors"

HCC1 is back.
Started getting more work units.
Have to keep an eye on them because the other day I ran out of work while running HCC1 exclusively.
The dashboard shows 104 days of work remaining but it is unlikely to last that long.
