Re: "The survivors"

Not if you like toast.
However, if it won't make toast at least it will warm a muffin.
Want to get something out of crunching, will even settle for a coffee break.

But in the meantime I have disabled network access because it appears that WUs are being lost.
My run time numbers do not add up; even using 10-day or 30-day averaging.they seem low.
Under the present conditions it is impossible to know if WUs are being lost or WCGDAWS and my Excel sheets are at fault.

Re: "The survivors"

Had issues with uploads and downloads for most of the day, but the issue seems to be better this evening. I manually pushed all my uploads using the "Retry now" button around 7:30 PM, and they all went fine. since then I have been uploading and downloading without human intevention. I am hoping for the best. worried

Re: "The survivors"

Sigh... spoke too soon. Woke up to see hung up tasks in "Uploding" state this morning.

Re: "The survivors"

bjbdbest,
Thanks!

Got online late today because one PC is running painfully slow.
One problem was Comodo and Winpatrol not getting along, which causes cfp.exe to run constantly and use up most of the CPU resources.
Looking for more problems because the PC is still slow.
Had to download, install, and reboot Windows updates and it took forever.

Haven't noticed if the upload problem is happening because my queue is set at 2-days and network access is restricted to 00:00-06:00.

Now have lots of errors like this one:
8/15/2012 3:08:04 PM | World Community Grid | Task HFCC_target-9_01975939_target-9_0000_0 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file
8/15/2012 3:08:04 PM | World Community Grid | If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project.
8/15/2012 3:08:04 PM | World Community Grid | Restarting task HFCC_target-9_01975904_target-9_0000_0 using hfcc version 640 in slot 1
Suspect that these are due to rebooting multiple times.
Since the task restarted all that was lost is run time.

Re: "The survivors"

Congratulations, you got your Sapphire badge in DSFL.

I see that on the device profiles there has been a change in the number of intermittent projects:

Available Projects
Computing for Sustainable Water
Say No to Schistosoma
GO Fight Against Malaria
Drug Search for Leishmaniasis
Computing for Clean Water
The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2
Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy - Phase 2
Help Fight Childhood Cancer
Help Conquer Cancer
Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2
FightAIDS@Home

Intermittent Projects
Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together - Phase 2

I was hoping they would get DDDT2 back online because I need a badge there.
