Guess I need to hire someone to watch WCG/BOINC for me when I am out of town.
I've heard the staff at Disney World Resorts provides a baby sitting service. Mayhaps they have BOINC sitters as well? ![]() |

Grumpy...
FORGET IT! You just want to go to Disney World so you can see the rest of you pals, Sneezy, Sleepy, Dopey, Doc, Happy, and Bashful and it ain't going to happen. |

Switched over to HPF two days ago, and not a single Validated WU yet (SIGH...). Playing havoc with my results! This is the problem with a project that requires 15 results for a quorum -- I guess it's going to take a few days to "ramp up".

Has anyone else lost a lot of WUs since this intermittent problem started in June?
----------------------------------------Just because your WUs upload and report does not mean that the data will not be lost by the servers. I am going to set my Preferences to connect with the network during hours when server load is lowest; if I can locate that info. I'm not sure how I would know if I've lost any WU's... I know that I have run out a few times, which has slowed my progress, but I don't know how to tell whether any have been lost...

Mange tak, grumpygrampy
- thank you so much for translating. And languages are so tricky. I know you - but maybe not Google Translate - have enough humor for this: "vi mistede dig" means "we lost you" but I like think you meant to say: "vi savnede dig" which in English is "we missed you". I missed you, too, but I was never lost to you ![]() |
