There were 2,834 results validated on the 13th, lots more than the initial batch... eating into the 19k tasks that uplinger put in the hopper.
Enjoy the feast... about 13 million tasks for the known 2 Targets to come. I've reset the Crunching Chart to 75% progress (6 of 8 targets done), from thereon incrementing so you'll know how far we are with HFCC, 3rd installment. In a week or two the daily progress percent and days to go will stabilize, an anticipated speedup once the NH holidays are over. It's Ramadan now too, a slow weekend on the crunching front on us. --//-- |

Well, I'm now assuming that all the original 19,000 tasks have been distributed, as the last one I managed to pull down, was at 06:21 UK time, with the message "Message from server: No work is available for Help Fight Childhood Cancer" being seen on my computer's next attempt at 08:03 UK time (and from then onwards).

Hooked 5 of the new WU's yesterday (all went through in between 1.75 and 3hrs) and all valid - I assume they were from the first batch but no more seen since then....the 19k seem to have disappeared like water in the desert.......let's hope there are a few more to follow in short order......!!!!!!

JSYKES, I really do get the impression that, once the techs are back in on Monday morn (US time, of course), and they've had a chance to check/ensure that this first 19,000 have/are going okay, that there'll be a shift around in the project order and this will then become an "Active" project with plenty of WU's in the hopper - waiting for us to crunch through...

26 came my way. 1 Inconclusive, 7 IP and 18 Valid. Last one sent was 14/08/11 05:38:22.
I guess it's not safe for anyone to go to HFCC-only just yet. Maybe tomorrow. If earlier predictions are close to the mark we could see around 6months additional HFCC work, so don't be in any rush to go exclusive; there will be plenty of tasks. |

Which part of Scotland are you in - as, around my part (Airdrie), I'm seeing a deadline of the 23rd - i.e., 10 days (and for those 'retreads', the 17th). Looking back, I see they were 9days x hours, so yes, you're correct in saying 10 days. (No time zone difference between West and East coast, just my mistake). ;-) I have also grabbed some retreads with 3-day return date. So far, only 1 inconclusive . ![]() Crunching in memory of my Mum PEGGY, cousin ROPPA and Aunt AUDREY. |

Greetings all,
The error rates for these work units is very low. We are building and loading up more work. You may start seeing some in the next few hours. We are letting our normal processing scripts handle the loading from now. We are still going to run it at low priority until we can get 50 full batches indexed into BOINC. Each batch has about 20,000 workunits. Once this is done, we will be increasing it's priority and letting them flow :) Yes, we will be moving it from intermittant back fully active. Enjoy, -Uplinger |

@ uplinger, if a project is intermittent and you have it selected and it subsequently moves from intermittent to fully active, does the selection you previously made carry across?
----------------------------------------i.e. if you have the project selected when it is in intermittent status, does it automatically continue to be selected when it goes back to being fully active? ![]() Crunching in memory of my Mum PEGGY, cousin ROPPA and Aunt AUDREY. |
