strange, I got very little CEP2 beta (like 1 out of a couple hundred betas). Anybody got a lot? I only received one in about a hundred and it is still waiting to start. I got many , >60 /runs for cover |

My deadlines all look fine to me; 4days.
Picked up about 35 to 40 CEP2 Betas, from 197 tasks (a fairly average distribution). Are the run time estimates about right (manually altered, if not full tasks)? |

Are the run time estimates about right (manually altered, if not full tasks)? The ran time doesn't look right to me. The one (and only one) CEP2 beta I have is running now, it is at 22 % done, yet it ran for less then 30 mins |

KodeX, I am very impress. Your machine must be super fast!!!!!!!! Did you get it from star trek or something? I wish! But since I did not make the deadlines... the comupter is not fast enough ;) The real funny part is that both WUs got resend with 4 days deadline each. I have no idea why the deadlines where only a few mins for me. All other WUs i got are 4 days deadline (on same and on different maschines) |

CEP2: Yes, est time: 3.5 hours is way to short. real time: 12.0 hours. Download speed is very good though.
----------------------------------------edit: i meant the "big" files. download speed is getting lower now, but still way better than before. also, i'm starting to think that setting the device profile to CEP2 "unlimited" gives only 1 beta per machine. or maybe it's just a big coincidence that setting it to "4" gives both my 2 and my 8 thread machines multiple jobs for the first time. crunching to make wcg a beta place [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 12, 2011 8:35:09 PM] |
