Re: UK

Fantasy Football League with Frank Skinner and David Baddiel started in 1994, not mid 80's, though Domonic Diamond started it a while before as a BBC Radio Show (not sure when the radio show began?).

I don't know of any new projects, there were hints of HFCC phase 2, a long while back, but the new targets keep on coming, so don't know about that?

Flu was reported to be going to phase 2 shortly after it finished, but so far nothing has come of that yet? I've got a feeling that the techs time is being taken up with the recent server problems and trying to get HCC GPU off the ground.

Spang! The brain cell has been playing tricks d oh . Indeed it was the mid 90s. Still feels a long time ago now, just not quite as long ago as I thought.

@ gordoma, genhos et al
Football was never my sport and Fantasy Football League sort of passed me by un-noticed. wink Though I recall that Angus Loughran used to write a weekly column looking at the weekend's Sports Bets, which could be profitable especially with some of the lesser known sports.

@ crooks_uk
I agree with themoonscrescent There's been nothing about any new projects on the Forum and the Techs seem absorbed in the system problems and getting HCC GPU up and running. I suppose A DDDT rain shower is always a possibility.

Re: UK

I'm very relieved to hear it wasn't the mid-80s, I thought I was a) feeling old and b) losing my memory big time!

I've just succumbed to badge collecting finally and grabbed 43 days worth of CFSW to reach my next badge before it ends - oh no, a new obsession crying

It's a slippery slope - I've got a lot of badges I need to move on due to not crunching for about 2 years worried

Re: UK

Hopefully I'll improve on that as well, my old I7 is now back up and running after the PSU went south on me yesterday and I don't for-see (fingers crossed), any more down time and come Sunday morning, the No Reply's will begin which will start to take care of the almost 6 pages of pending I have at the moment sad

I must of had a couple of Snail validate at the last moment before the update, as I now have my Blue Badge biggrin
