Re: UK

Well, it looks like I won't be getting my new server this year, now, courtesy of a boiler that decided to leak twice (from different parts) in 24 hours. Am going to be replacing it, so that's going to be £3-4k worth of potential-server-money...

Re: UK

The power pack on my old I7 has given up the ghost, so it'll be out of action for a few days sad but once it's back it'll be all out war on HFCC until I hit five years (only got 3 years 76 days at the moment).

I've got enough of what I need for the Snail to turn a brighter shade of Blue, fingers crossed my Wingmen wake up and start returning some of the 5 pages I've got in pending sad , so after these few last snails finish, war will begin biggrin

@ Kashi Gorton: Cheers, you gave me the idea of seeing if my old E520 Dual Core could be upgraded, and apparently it can, I googled it and found that a Q6600/Q6700 quad will fit in quite nicely cool, it'll be a couple of months though, I've had quite an expensive month.

Re: UK

I see Statto (aka Jonnieb) has been in full force again for the top 5000 calculations.
Whenever I see Jonnieb post now, I'll think of Angus Loughran in his dressing gown on Fantasy Football.

Re: UK

Where did we start the year in rankings terms then? Seems like rather a lot of progress just in the last month :-)

@ Mike D Green
I don't have the details for start of year sad (I wasn't even a member!) Early Feb is the best I can come up with:

Comparison of UK team rankings:
	05-Feb	18-Sep Xmas?
RT 91 90 87
Pts 92 83 80
Res 90 80 76

My Christmas predictions (made 21st Aug) still look good for Runtime and Points. Results though, may only make #78. I suspect this is a consequence of CfSW finishing. At peak, in mid August (around the time the predictions were made), CfSW accounted for 35% of UK team Results from only 13% of our Runtime .

Re: UK

Thanks for the info. Seeing the rate of change of things is always interesting for some reason!

Re: UK

It had to be done Jonnie as you are the Statto of the team, as Gordoma recognised from back in the day (well mid-80s) Fantasy Football League with Frank Skinner and David Baddiel. Mid 80s yikes! shock

Re: UK

Does anybody know if any new projects are due to start soon. I've not come across any news in the forums.
