Re: UK

@jonnieb-uk

Where are you getting those numbers from? I ask since mine - showing on my WCG stats page, are decidedly different from that :-\ Puzzled!

I assume they're total figures, rather than 'as part of the UK team?

Ah - are they RT / Points / Results required to make the top 5K?

Yes there was an error! blushing A misplaced ")" - (I blame auto-correct) - miscalculated the Days estimate when the Gap >365. I've amended the original post.

Total of 30 threads, spread across two i7s (4 and 6 core) an i5 (two core) and various older dual core machines - total of 18 cores / 30 threads. I've retired my three single core, single thread machines now.

Re: UK

Afternoon all... my quest for another emerald is nearly at an end. Should hit that for HCMD2 in the next day or so.

Now if there are no other projects about the finish (I've got as far with CfSW and HFCC as I can) and no more are about to start (I'm keeping an eye out for the next DDDT2 rain, as I currently have no badge for that)... then I'll get to work on moving these bronzes on.

Hopw everyone is well.

Re: UK

Upgrading the processor on my Dell Inspiron 6000 from the original 1.73GHz to a 2.13GHz one... every little helps ;) AND it was only £18... good old ebay! Top tip that... for old chipsets, look at the second best processor that is possible to fit, and it will be hugely cheaper and probably only fractionally worse than the best (the 2.26GHz would have cost me £50!)

Re: UK

The UK team have advanced to #80 in the Results rankings, ahead of BitBenderTech. Ahead lies Michigan Tech #79 4 days. After that there will be a lengthy wait. Possibly MYCHAT@TAIWAN might fall in 64 days but as length of time increases the estimates become more volatile. It may be that #79 is the limit of our progress, for 2012, in the Results rankings

Re: UK

Where did we start the year in rankings terms then? Seems like rather a lot of progress just in the last month :-)

Re: UK

Morning Gents!
I see Statto (aka Jonnieb) has been in full force again for the top 5000 calculations. On the points side, I only have 20,000 odd places to gain d oh
