That's the best part of a 50% jump shock I'd expect the days left to drop quickly down to <50ish days once the average picks up.

On the up side, I just turned Gold for DSFL.

GFAM

New post for GFAM summing up where they got to with the work we have all helped with. They also say they are expanding FA@H further so it looks like that project running dry isn't something to worry about any time soon.

Re: GFAM

Holy Tintinnabulation, Batman! That's a post and a half.
Surprised to read they had far, far more targets crunched than originally planned.
Hopefully they will get some good leads from it all.

Holy Tintinnabulation, Batman!

That's an interesting quote. A lot of tintinnabulation is holy, but I have to say the stuff that isn't is generally more fun!

(I couldn't resist that, given my nickname. devilish )

re DSFL

Official announcement of a slowdown for DSFL

Same workaround as previously described for SN2S:

  • Select only DSFL in your Device Profile
  • Uncheck If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project.
  • Allow cache to fill with sufficient DSFL WUs
  • Select any other projects & DSFL in Device Profile
  • Completed WUs will be replaced in 9:1 ratio (Others:DSFL)
  • Repeat above as necessary

Of course that won't help if WCG totally runs out of DSFL work so I'm going to increase my cache size to 5 days.

Re: re DSFL

So does this mean if I leave just DSFL running automatically there is a good chance that I will run out of WUs?

With crooks_uk i7 2.5 GHz laptop visiting the States and the "crunch when idle" machines not being idle, team crunching has dipped in the last week. Nontheless we've continued to widen the gap from all the Threats and seen Kansas State University almost drop off the radar completely. smile

Not quite so rosey on Targets with an abundance of Wider indicators but still 7 places within in the next 30 days.
