Re: GFAM

Just d/l WU 0104880 for GFAM. This inficates that we're in the penultimate stage of Experiment 126 which is the last Experiment in Target #20.

No news yet on the size of Targets #21 & #22.

Watch this space!

I've 100 days RT (which means I recently got gold biggrin ) just 630 days RT to go until I hit target in maybe 70ish days. I just hope there is enough in targets 21 and 22 for me to get to 2 years.

Latest WU 105117 so we've just started Target #21

Quick back of an envelope calculation:
The last 2 experiments in Target #20 took 4 days to complete send out.

Assuming Targets #21 & #22 are a similar size each containing 5 experiments I would guesstimate around 20 days work remaining!

I hope I'm wrong! tired

Re: GFAM

confused

I hope there is a little more left or i wont even hit 1 year before the 'prolonged break' which has been mentioned. sad

If that is true it will also cut the active projects down to 5 in a very short space of time, it would seem now would be a great time to introduce another.

Effectively 4½ since SN2S is restricted:
We are hoping to return Say No to Schistosomiasis back to the normal rate in about a couple of weeks. The researchers are preparing additional target and ligand compound data. We will take that and test it to make sure there are no problems and then ramp up to the normal rate.

It is possible to grab SN2S WUs by making it the only [roject selected in Device Manager/Device Profile. And to make doubly certain uncheck If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project.

Many of my reports are underpinned by a rolling 7day average. Over the next few weeks I will be changing to a rolling 28day average which should smooth out the spikes and troughs of daily crunching more effectively. Implementing an immediate 28day average would however muddy the waters because of the end of HCC. Therefore the rolling average will begin from May 3 and increase until 28days is reached - conveniently May 31. This table is based on 11day average. Note that there will be no retrospective asjustment of historical data.

Re: Global 5000 Contenders

Well, I've re-enabled my gaming PC back into my farm. I've still not yet put the SSD in, but I'm now just going on the basis that if one of the old hard-drives finally dies, it'll give me the excuse to put the SSD in. It's also why I'm doing a daily-backup of any important files on there! biggrin

I wanted to do the planned upgrade (watercooled i7-3930k, 16GB DDR3-2133, with 2GB GTX-680) before doing the SSD-install, as it means I'll only have one Windows-install to do, so hopefully it'll last until then! smile
