Good morning team, I intend having my full fleet of workstations rendering this weekend so am hoping to beat my previous runtime record. Started some yesterday and am currently at 40 pages PV so looking good so far. Well the Lunchcrunch was pretty good: 0:029:02:40:43 against an average (Apr to 18/4 0:024:00:38:58 March 0:019:00:17:23 Looking good so far. Down to 38 pages PV (normally at circa 22 pages PV) but that should soon start to increase as the rendering completes. Was hoping that my new hex core workstation (12 threads) would be here today for the record attempt, but will have to make do with what I have. Unfortunately, I am down two i7 laptops, but should do well this weekend with the amount of cores on offer.

This is off topic...
----------------------------------------3D TV... I'm confused? I will say up front that I am no lover of 3D Cinema/TV and maybe that is why, but I want to know if anyone else has this experience??? I was out and about yesterday and went in to a local TV Shop to browse around and there was a 3D-TV setup with a 3D Bluray playing with glasses to test the image. My wife went 1st and tried it out and she was astounded at the image when she put the glasses on and so I duly tried it out.. I saw absolutely no difference on the screen with the same 3D glasses on, then off, when I say no difference, I was still clearly seeing the dual image that makes the 3D image, there was no change on the screen in any way shape or form? Is it usual for some people to not see the 3D image or am I just a little weird like that? ![]() ![]() |
