Re: UK

Yay! Most improved! Thank you! Although going from zero to something doesn't quite feel like an achievement... 'scuse my ignorance but what does the number represent?

Re: UK

what does the number represent?

Essentially its the sum of the ranking places gained in across the three divisions divided by the number of days since joining the team.

Re: UK

Threats to UK team Ranking
Probably as a result of the introduction of GPU capability a number of addtional teams have emerged as a threat to UK team ranking:

Team Gap Net Days to close
RunTime Crunch Current Nov-30
Kansas State University 38,924
KAUST 64,262 1,427
Iowa State University 89,491 202 444 2,324
Crunching@EVGA 132,661 228 582

International Team 612,826
Overclock.net 684,496 1,982 345 351
My Little Pony 713,193 920 775 711
SeriousCrunchers 866,352 4,591 189 607
JISATORA@W-ASCII 897,039 3,274 274 829

TeAm AnandTech continue to lurk around the 30 day mark as a threat to Points ranking.

All other threats are long term or very long term.

However attention is drawn to those teams highlighted which are making serious progress in reducing the Gap.

smile Re: UK

I will be adding a new i3 3110M 2.4 GHz laptop to the fleet in about a weeks time. Not much horsepower but will certainly be faster than the Pentium 4 desktop it replaces.

Just purchased a new file server. A little overkill (but future proof) but a welcome addition to the fleet. CPU is a i5-3570K!

Hopefully my new laptop will be with me tomorrow, with my new file server coming on Thursday! Should be up and running by Sunday night!
