Those are pretty horrendous discrepancies in Elapsed v CPU times. crying

Just a thought - does WCGDAWS indicate the problem is across all projects or just HPF2? I vaguely recall a (SekeRob) post that said some projects are inherently inefficient when run on XP. Don't know if that applies to HPF2.

Nope only a problem on this project (by that I mean no more than an average of 2 hours time loss per 2 work units... 1 from each core).

I'm running it down, only another 5 left to do (inc the 2 it's working on right now), which means it'll finish sometime before Easter laughing

Also, well done on your Golden Globe wink and good going to Thargor for his milestones cool

Thankfully individual member stats by project are not currently available to the public, else my workload would increase by a factor of 8! sad Congratulations on the achievement.

Only two more days in work left in 2012 (Wednesday and Friday), and then 2 weeks of glorious laziness and large amounts of good food & alcohol shared with family.

Since you'now on leave does that mean the dual quad-core Xeon 2.40GHz remains on test for at least the next 2 weeks?

I'm not in the office, but colleagues still are. The machine is just in a test-bed area for my department, so if it's needed for anything official, they'll be able to wipe it and re-purpose it. The chances of it happening are small, disasters-aside, but the possibility is still there...
