Re: Where are you from?

Oh yes - The Chronicle of the Black Sword was the first tour I saw Hawkwind on.

Re: Where are you from?

I better listen to it a couple of times more.
The lyrics are the fantasy sort - even downloaded them; oh, yes, I want to inform myself.
Hawkwind - do I have white spots on my music map! Oh, boy!
Well, if you have ever visited Base Camp's team thread you will find that we often link to music of all kinds
and thereby expand our common knowledge and pleasure.
Don't you find it lonely crunching on your own not having any buddies to talk with?

he-he not so thinly veiled invitation ....
Will you have to ask SNURK to redo your siggy?
- you could of course keep kind-of-sweet there

Re: Where are you from?

The Chronicle of the Black Sword was based on the Mike Moorcock books, a lot of the rest of their output is psychadelia/SF with a lot of science references thrown in.

I may keep my sig as it is.

I love the fact that Dave Brock is still gigging at 69 and that Daevid Allen of Gong is still going at 73!

That's about my age crying
Skimmed some of Google's article about Mike Moorcock. Although, I'm not into sci-fi much, he and his works seem very interesting and not superficial as is often seen in the genre.

Yes, do keep your siggy as it is, so kind-of-sweet doesn't disappear completely.

Re: Where are you from?

I saw Gong last year - it made a nice change to see an entire band older then me!

Getting older isn't an issue when you consider the alternative biggrin

Re: Where are you from?

True enough, and it sure is hard to find a band older than me/us (in case you have some anciennity as well)
when 3/4 or even more of the World's population is younger.

Only recently discovered YouTube and cannot get enough.
Practically all music (and other stuff as well) can be found.
Do you know this: A melody turns and turns in your head, and you would really like to hear it?
I remember way back in 1980? that Israel participated in the European Melody Grand Prix.
Maybe they won, but their entry was lovely. Finally my mind indicated the title was something with "Hallelujah",
and lo and behold - and I love YouTube and Google equally - it was there. Would you like to hear it?
Hallelujah
Do you take coffee or tea?

Re: Where are you from?

How do you take it, Zarozonia?
Kind-of-sweet with a little sugar?
Cream or milk?
I have stashed so much music aside as a squirrel anticipating a very bad winter.
I had this on vinyl decades ago. May I share it with you?
Stardust with Sarah Vaughn
Good Morning, densnaps, you found your way here!
Could I get you a cup of coffee?
