deltavee, nice to see you here Good afternoon lm, from the Texas Hill Country . You finally caught me lurking even though I've tried to be inconspicuous. I live near Driftwood Texas, about an hour southwest of Austin.I just made coffee. Would you care for a cup? |

Thank you very much for your reaction, deltavee.
In fact, I have tried to contact you several times when you sat on my fence which you will see if you wander back in this thread. I never offered you coffee before, though ... Should have done that Look at that picture which comes up with your link! So lush, green, and gently curved. I have been to San Marcos, visited LBJ's ranch, seen attractive San Antonio, been to the LBJ Library in Austin and passed Dennison, I believe it's called, and saw where "the guy who came after me" was born. All that happened when George W was a toddler ![]() Hey, really nice to talk with you after having spent all this Hexagame time in silence. ![]() |

All that happened when George W was a toddler Gearge W was not born in Texas but in New Haven, Connecticut and is not considered by everyone to really be a Texan. |

All that happened when George W was a toddler George W was not born in Texas but in New Haven, Connecticut and is not considered by everyone to really be a Texan.Never said he was a Texan. Only suggested he must have been a toddler at some early point in life when I did aforementioned touristy things - having in mind that he does have that Crawford (I believe) farm in your state. Nobody really wants him, eh? After all, he did a good job standing atop of all the rubble with his arm around that rescue worker's shoulders, me finks. From then on it kind of went downhill in many ways. Edit the morning after: I'm sorry for whatever harshness could be read into this. Not intentional at all. Trying to play a smartass rather foolishly. Sorry.[Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 27, 2011 9:45:55 AM] |

... And since you mention that Star Wars is an acquired taste, I'll point out that the Darth Vader nickname was given to me many years ago for other reasons. I'm not particularly a Star Wars fan, especially not the newer 3 movies. The Empire Strikes Back was the best, in my opinion. - D Yes, nicknames are given to you; you may like them or not, but oftentimes they stick. I shall keep in mind that if I would give it another try filling in the gap of having no Star Wars movie experience, I should choose The Empire Strikes Back. #4 "Where are you from?" spot is yours by special rule bending. Edit: Again, I noticed you sitting on my fence, and by the time this was ready, you were gone. And thanks for bending the rules ... I think. - D |

darth,
You are always welcome to come inside this big questionmark of mine. No need spending too much time on, near, or below that fence. Yes, special rule bending is unnerving. But in this case it's a good thing. Let's do coffee ![]() |

Greetings from England. Hi MeMyselfandI10,Nice of you to drop in. Sorry to be so tardy replying. I have noticed your name as I swim around on this board and found it well, kind of cute. What has been your thinking on creating that handle? You're from England. A thing to be proud of for sure. Did you ever consider putting that in your "My Forum Profile"? And maybe even let us know your city? I do have a kind of list for you guys who put up this info, place #5 is ready for you. Better hurry, because these single-digit places go fast. So nice of you to pop in. Edit: Just went to Hexagame to see what was going on if anything and - lo and behold - you had an entry under bridge for: Parc des Buttes-Chaumont Suspension Footbridge Welcome to Hexagame, MeMyselfandI10 [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 27, 2011 9:11:39 AM] |

Hello ErikaT,
Didn't really speak with you when you assisted our friend from Hong Kong with info as to his badges and facebook. I see that you are from adminstration, and you probably walk the beat to find out if we need assistance - as with the Hong Kong cruncher - and gauge the mood in general. Your index card doesn't tell where you're from. It would be nice if you find you could do that for us. ![]() |

toss, you sit on my fence, or you may just be looking over it, as Darth_Vader put it.
You have been here before, but we never got to talk to each other. You are from New Zealand, your index card says. That's all well and good. The South Island or the North Island? City or countryside? Did the Christchurch earthquake affect you? I would like to have the possibility of sending a PM so you would know I try to open a conversation. But we don't have the benefit of that feature. And telepathy doesn't work either. Press F5 Press F5 Press F5, please |
