You told me that you are from Whitby, Ontario, Canada - but you never got around to adjust your "My Forum Profile" accordingly. Would you contemplate doing it now, when you have had the time to think about it?  |

 Just an observation:There is a tendency toward Europeans being open about telling where they are from. Also South Americans are good at it. Canadians are somewhat lacking - and where does that place the USAmericans? Well, as always they are #1 - this time unfortunately from the bottom up  Did I make any of you run to your "My Forum Profile" to remedy that?  |

So is that an X-ray of your IP, operating system, and internet browser, skgiven? - for a moment I thought it might be me  - but my IE is 8 ....  I admire you for having dug out this old thread - thank you for remembering it - I would have done some archaeology myself some day when I might be bored otherwise - because I'm afraid we still have some 98% of us crunchers not stating their country as the very least they could do to make co-crunchers with an affinity for geography happy ... - and it has not stopped to obsess me   |

It shows the IP address of any user that is browsing the page.
So when I look at it, it shows my IP, and when you see it you are looking at your details  |

Well, I think I have to live with that.
----------------------------------------As long as noone hijacks my identity ... - and now I'm on Telefónica Espana - which may very well be true here in the Baleares on a hotel network ...  IE 8 -that's it But to claim I understand what takes place, would be an exaggeration ...
